Marketing Internship with Bentley Dining Services

The intern will collaborate closely with our Unit Field Marketing Specialist and Dining Services Team to support strategy, implement tactics, and track progress in three key areas:

• Increasing year-over-year sales growth
• Enhancing customer satisfaction
• Ensuring customer retention

The intern will implement, track, and report Bentley Dining's marketing efforts that align with these goals. An interest in food service/hospitality, photography, and social media is encouraged. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in creating exceptional student experiences by leveraging marketing tactics throughout the consumer journey
• Supporting the implementation and tracking of the Dining Services Marketing Plan
• Facilitating collaborative initiatives between Dining Services and the University through marketing, promotion, and communication
• Helping to create and implement communication materials, including print, web, and social media content
• Aiding in the communication, promotion, and tracking of account-level research, such as bi-annual customer satisfaction surveys, focus groups, and food preference surveys
• Analyzing data in collaboration with the Local Management Team and Regional Marketing Team
• Acting as a liaison between students and dining services, hosting events to raise awareness about Dining Services and their offerings
• Attending key dining events to support and photograph students and staff
• Assisting in dining services operations
• Participating in monthly National Intern calls
• Ensuring marketing materials are updated across various campus locations

Qualifications:

• Outgoing, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with content creation on Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram preferred
• Flexible schedule, with a commitment of 12 hours per week, including some nights and weekends
• Photography and graphic design experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Canva, and Adobe programs
• Interest in photography is ideal but not required
